Piedmont Red & White has led the best Piedmont wines in Oslo, Norway

Twenty-three wine small producers from Piedmont, Italy, have attended the Oslo event Wednesday, July 15. The meeting with buyers, wholesalers, sommeliers and food expert has been an huge success. All those present has enjoyed the wine tasting experiences (a “Walk Around Tasting” and a “Masterclass”) organized by Piedmont Red & White at the Sjømagasinet Restaurant.
23 producers, representative of the many wineries from the Piedmont areas of Alessandria – Asti – Cuneo, present their DOC and DOCG wines (PDO), fruit of family work and tradition that has characterized each winery for years. Each wine tells a unique story of love for the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato area, the Unesco heritage, of historic vine cultivation, of rural social context and an economic fabric based on the culture of wine. The vineyards of these areas constitute and exceptional example of the integration of man with the natural environment that has generated the best adaptation of the vineyards to the characteristic soil and climate, becoming an international reference point.

Products involved in the project are the white, red and sparkling wines of Piedmont, in particular the following denominations: Asti DOCG, Moscato d’Asti DOCG, Brachetto d’Acqui DOCG, Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG, Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d’Alba DOC, Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Dogliani DOCG, Roero DOCG, Roero Arneis DOCG, Langhe Chardonnay DOC, Langhe Favorita DOC, Gavi or Cortese di Gavi DOCG and in general the entire Piedmont wine-producing denominations.
Piedmont Red and White spreads the culture of knowledgeable and moderate drinking. Wine is a socializing element and becomes the co-star with food in healthy and satisfying diet.
